Since 1966, FlightSafety Academy has been producing some of the industry's best graduates. As the flight school arm of one of the world's largest pilot training organizations, FlightSafety International, we work to ensure a steady flow of quality-trained young pilots into the cockpits of airlines and corporate aircraft worldwide. We uphold FlightSafety International's long-held philosophy that the best safety device in any cockpit is a well-trained pilot. And we train to meet and exceed current industry standards. Experts in the development of customized ab initio and transition programs, we focus on pilot safety and proficiency to prepare pilots for first officer and copilot positions. Corporations, airlines, the military and numerous government agencies have come to rely on our unparalleled tradition of excellence and discipline. More than 17,000 of our graduates fly for 62 airlines and over 100 corporate flight departments. At FlightSafety Academy your cadets can maximize flight time and increase proficiency by accessing our large fleet of single and multi engine aircraft. You'll find more than 85 aircraft on the flight line in Vero Beach. The Academy campus is located on the Vero Beach Municipal Airport on Florida's east coast with its very own FAA control tower. Our full-service campus offers direct flight line access, on-site accommodations, and a full complement of classrooms, administrative offices and aircraft maintenance hangars. The campus is within easy access of major airports, including Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale. Licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, school number 1950.
